I've been meaning to pop in and say hi after seeing a fccuk sticker in the back window of my coupe.
It's a sprint blue 20vt and I'm lovin it!
I actually bought it late last year, drove it for a few hundred miles and had a clutch failure
No warnings like low bite or slipping, only a heavy clutch. One of the springs on the clutch plate broke up and wedged in behind the clutch. Sometimes I would have a clutch and sometimes I wouldn't, very hard to diagnose.
I'm just back on the road a few weeks now after changing the clutch, a challenging job but I learnt lots about my coupe.
One of the main things I learnt was that if the starter motor ever needs replacing I'll be getting someone else to do it lol.
Otherwise the car is good, pulls well and has a quiet engine and good turbo. Dumpvalve has been replaced as well as manifold and lots of other service history in a big folder
Just got to sort out the brakes now (clicking calipers and poor performance). Flushed out the fluid today and filled it with Super Blue. Slight improvement but the brakes are crap tbh.
Now I've rambled on a bit and almost forgot to say what I came to say - great site guys! Very helpful.
