I was woken this morning by a lorry outside our house. To my horror it was rather close to my Coupe, and would exit past our Alfa. I went out and folded the Coupes wing mirror in, increasing the gap between Coupe and lorry from 4" to 5"...



Thankfully the cars survived unscathed!

im the same when a lorry goes down my street. There was once when our car wasnt where it was (outside the house) and up the drive,this lorry was going too fast up our road and misjudged his gap from out lamppost and the car on otherside...he hit the lamppost and took his mirror clean off! glass everywhere,he didnt stop either! good job my car wasnt there!

The coupe's wing mirror can be folded in? learn something new every day!

Isn't the Coupe's foldable mirrors feature a bit pointless, as the sides of the car actually stick out further than the mirrors themselves?

I would guess that depending on what was passing had something the same height as Coupe mirror extending beyond what was lower than said vehicle.
I have never moved mine in the 1cm. The spider don't like it!

I've never moved my mirrors in neither, mainly because I don't want to disturb the spider, as dlongstaff says and because I don't want to break the black finger bit at the back

I would have just moved the cars

Glad to know that both cars escaped unhurt though

The Coupe looks TINY!

I park with the nearside wheels on the kerb, those refuse trucks are none too narrow!
