Going North on the A9
sorry to clog up this section with ignorance, but I've been through the Tech FAQ and couldn't see this- I must have missed it.

what is the mileage interval on the 20V belt change?

Thankyou

JimP

Regardless of intervals the unwritten rule is every 3 years.

Mileage in that time doesn't matter .

Thanks JimP for the post & JBT for the response. thumb

I'm buying one soon & I have seen a lot where the mileage since changed is low but were changed in 2008 / 2009 so need to factor that in to my negotiations. I won't be changing it but hopefully you will JBT smile

The belts are so cheap nowadays that for the cost of a service you can have peace of mind for 3 years.

Well worth getting the runout of the power steering pump pulley checked out while you're having the belts done.

I found damage to the pump quill and the support bearing which led to my engine rebuild.
