Well after 15 years of ownership ( yes same car ) and it being of the road for the past 5 years,I finally hired a transporter and yesterday we went on a long road trip (glasgow to London) off to Barbz`s coupe hospital.
Boot,inside,and even boxes in transporter,full of bits gathered over the years for him to sift thro` and fit

car already has C&B cams,full stage 3 headwork,uprated intercooler,aquamist,gt28rsr,forged pistons,blueflame exhaust,ported manifold,(evn has a chargecooler,but coming off,so up for sale soon )organic clutch,sip, uprated pump and regulator,bigger injectors etc etc

All the above work done by Barbz the first time around,so i know what to expect ............ nothing less than perfection

so this time around

It`s going to stay 2ltr,but ,now going for forged rods, no loss piston rings,even bigger injectors,another uprated fuel pump,apparantly even more fettling with the head..........and a `fancy` turbo --leaving that bit up to Barbz and a re map. so we can only guess what he will achieve can`t we ????
re mit is yes as much power as poss.but must ALL be useable power coming in a low as possible to give max kick when pushing the all important pedal at ANY GIVEN TIME( I`m an impatient bugger) but I still want lots of power........he claims it will destroy my F 360 when i get it back....

he still has to fit all new suspension and brakes front and rear and hosts of other new goodies too

common after being on here from almost day 1,i`ve manged to avoid it all this time..............thats how i can afford to take the car down to Barbz

Thanks for the positive comments guys,I`m always on here, just don`t post as much (only when i can help),and with car being off the road for so long,hard to keep interested.

But not now

In the end I thought long and hard what to do with the car,sell it ,break it, leave it lying in my garage even longer or get my bum in gear and get it to Barbz.
I have bought sooo many parts over the years (even down to daft things like, new indicator/wiper stalks, new rear wiper motor,new interior heater motor,new centre consol and on and on ---all bought for peanuts from E Bay over the passing years),it really only made sense to get the car up and going again,and I couldn`t think of a better plan than leaving the re birth up to Barbz

I am sure you will be pleased, i look forward to the results.
