Is that the best place to put a boost gauge, it's not very visible when driving?

It's actually not that bad... On the rare occasion you can get a reflection from the sun, but that's the only down side for me....

surely thats not an ideal place for eye contact? The steering wheel in the way, having to look down when driving? The A pillar has to be the best spot imo

It's in the same grouping as the other dials so no real change to that when your looking at the regular dials. Your eye will only flick down to look at it now and again anyway... Can't say I look at my boost gauge more than once or twice during a drive anyway....

Each to their own I guess..... Mine was already in place when I purchased the car.... I'd have gone for a pillar pod placement if I was doing it again. That said with my current set up it almost looks O.E with the sliver bezel and black dial face.
