I was hoping for more poke and decatted smoke, even though at 1.5bar that's already a joke. As long as the unsuspecting folk are still awoke and choke on my coke...
But certainly more noise for bankers to fear, as all they see is my rear, again disappear, after glancing the finger and my wallet-raping snear! Mwahahahaha

i heard from someone ages ago that you cant decat a coupe if its got a stander turbo is that true or fulse

fulse imo , use a supersprint decat and your have no problems , i have run one for the last 3.5 years on a standard turbo and my mate has run one for 5.5 years .

I've never known a coop not to smoke if it's on the standard turbo with a decat.

I can confirm Nismo's doesn't, having followed him briefly at Spa before flying past

All coops smoke fullstop, if yours doesnt smoke i suggest you go out and check your oil level

Na. I was told i had a very sick 20vt at Curbough 2010 with lots of tick over smoke. Total bolox. As usual. Curbough is not a normal place to run a coupe.
i have done loads of track days / long runs etc without problems since.

Funny how a little mod and rhyme about exhausts can turn into a smokey coop thing.

Mine only really dumps a small cloud of what I assume to be some coke + oil + water in that usual high pressure big turbo kinda way on initial throttle (not in a sustained knackered bearing kinda way!) - the kind of thing you can only see when the sun is at the right angle or in someone's headlights as they attempt to follow you. The same from anything from an old skool cossie to a nu skool FQ. And it may dumb some unburnt fuel at lift-off, though usually that is kept to a minimum by it igniting in the exhaust which a nice blue-flamed backfire, something my car has done for years, but only noticed recently when I followed it in the dark one day.

My car is only a touch louder. I should've put my dB phone app on it before the work, damn! +1 dB would be a result, as it's a logarithmic scale. It seems a bit more gruff 1krpm to 2.5krpm, which is exactly what I need now I don't live in MK any more. I need to out-loud corsas and saxos at 30mph these days.

Would you believe it though? I got pulled by rozzers today! Making too much noise. I only booted it up to 60 in a 70, then cruised. And given their questioning, they blatantly only heard me, not saw me.

This might be a filth magnet. Better make sure I have plenty of cameras recording to counter their 'interpretations of events'. One truth saying YT channel coming up...!
