I have a question about spark plugs. What is going to happen if I use dink or Flea chip and I continue driving with my standart Denso Iridium IW22 spark plugs?

Why is that? What problems have you encountered?

This never got answered publicly, so for anyone who's interested here's my answer from our PM conversation:

Hi. I found protruding BPxxxx plugs fine for most of my Coupe ownership, in fact I ran normal BPR7 plugs through all of the car's power 'hikes', right up until 280bhp and only had to start experimenting with plugs and gaps when trying to pass 300 bhp.

I found that the BPxxxx plugs suffered spark blow-out more than the same plug but non-protruding.

My take on this is that the BP nose is situated more in the centre of the combustion chamber where the fuel mixture is densest. It's harder for a spark to jump across a gap filled with dense fuel mixture, so the spark struggled to jump the gap.

Whereas the non-protruding plug is situated closer to the cylinder head, where the mixture is less dense - and probably a bit cooler too.

My theory seems to be borne out in reality too. I know that there are/were surface-spark plugs out there for real hardcore motors. I think we're talking big boost + big n20 motorbikes.

I know I shouldn't laugh but lol laugh

Digital: I'm guessing you're running stock or lightly modified? In which case I'm sure they'll be fine. Just 1 or 2 grades lower temp is all you need for anything below 300 bhp.

KJ my Fiat Coupe is 16vt and it is still lightly modified.

It has FMIC, stock turbo and injectors, stainless steel 3" downpipe and 2.75" straight SS pipe from the downpipe to the end of the exhaust, decat, walbro 255 fuel pump, HKS high flow air filter with straight pipe to the turbo inlet.

When I bought the car (5 months ago) it came with some kind of aftermarket chip tuning (evo cars i suppose) and Denso iridium IW22 spark plugs. The car had problems with the cold starts and the injector light, so I put the original(stock) chip and everything was perfect...

Now after all the mods that I have mentioned above I think about remapping the Coupe on RR. That's why I am asking about the spark plugs. I have ordered NGK BCPR7ET. Are they good(cold) enough for my current set up?

Yes those will be fine for your setup. No need to run colder than 7 on the stock turbo.
