Having just bought a quite expensive boost gauge i am now a bit reluctant to carry out my original plan of changing the led and needle as it will involve removing the bezel. Having researched this it seems the only way to do it is to gently lever up the edge of the rim and work around until it's loose. I just can't see it going back together properly and not looking like it has been tampered with. Anyone done this before? If so any advice or pics would be great. Thanks
James

Been thinking exactly the same, as painting the needle white (from orange) to get it std looking.
Interesting to hear views on this..

I asked the same thing a while ago, as I was going to try matching the Plus dials. I think somebody on here tried and said it was almost impossible to remove the bezel, and ultimately it broke the gauge. I'd only bother if you could afford to bin it if it went wrong.

Coopless!

Bezeles are nearly always folded on by a machine. The bezel holds the perspex viewing window to the gauge. So you can remove the bezel, but only by prising it off and permanently damaging it. Then you'll have to bond the window to the gauge.
