I need a count function for random text i.e. A-----------B-----------C-----------D-----------E 1-ABC123 2-123GBF 3-IJE459 4- etc Then in a cell I need to sum the number of inputs in A1:A10... so for this the answer would be 3, but the text will be random. Ta muchly LSLO#8
