Firstly, Apologies if this is in the wrong section- please move to more appropriate location.

I am replacing the vacuum tubing to the air side of the car in blue silicone, starting with the top of the inlet manifold (to the T piece and on to the gauge). I have measured this as 5mm ID. I am now looking at doing the same for the EBV etc. Is it the same ID?
If anyone has done this already what size and type of clips did you use?

Gargoil,

Thanks for your help. Interestingly I am going replace the Bosch with a Bailey. Is forge a better option?

I think its just personal preference. I am just changing as the Bailey (DV26) I have is an atmospheric type and the Forge (006) I now have is a recirc. Just got a bit bored of the loud psst sound and fancied a change!

I am going for a DV30 recirc. With the SIP and HKS filter you still get lots of noise anyway- some of it very nice!

Does that mean that the Bailey OD would be 5mm?

Am running an HKS filter and SIP as well pretty noisy with the atmospheric! lol

I have 4mm tubing connected up to my Bailey currently. Its the Forge that has a much wider connector for the tubing on it so I'm going to have to go up to 5mm!
