Good Afternoon all!

As the title says, I have just joined the fold and purchased a 20V Turbo. After 6 1/2 years with my Honda Accord Type R, I couldn't keep off Pistonheads once I had sold her.

I felt it was about time I scratched a few itches that I have developed over the years. Rather than getting too attached to cars, my aim is to dabble in a few things I always fancied, a 'bucket list' if you like.

One Saturday morning on Pistonheads led to a Sunday morning road trip to Rugby to meet Ally from this very club. The car ticked all the boxes, Ally was a nice lad and things sounded pretty good. After taking a few brave pills, I took the gamble and bought the car.

I am rather click-happy with my camera, so I will be sure to abuse the relevant Media section of the forum when I can.

Fingers crossed she will be a good one and break me away from the world of Honda reliability very gentle.....

I won't lie, Jap motors are reliable, that's a fact, but the Coupe is just as good as long as you keep an eye on all the important items to check, no leaks, levels etc

I used to see that coupe every day and drool at it when i worked on that building site, it all ways looked mint,and i like the arm rest between the front seats, got to get myself one of them.

Cheers all. I guess the oil checks on these is just as crucial as the VTEC's then? Haha. Yes yes, its not my first choice of colour, but it looked like a well cared for car so I thought I would have a dabble.

It already needs looking at as It feels like the front wheel is trying to come into the cabin. I spent years fighting knocks and ball joint issues on the Honda - thankfully the suspension design in the coop looks a lot simpler...... Fingers crossed! I've had it almost a week and its been out the garage for a whole 10 miles so far.

Looks a nice Porto you've got yourself there Rob, I'm quite partial to the colour myself having had a good one before!

Nello - I got a new job with Citroen with a company car (that I have to be seen in) and I couldn't justify the Coop aswell. Very sad to see her go but glad she's gone to a good home. The DS3 is a great car but just not as special or exciting (or fast!)... I wiped the alloys across a kerb this morning because I was bored / not concentrating... That never ever happened in the Coop.

Look after her.. I'll be checking up on you... !
