As title says, I need a bluetooth phone receiver/speaker that I can swap between vehicles quickly - so no hard wiring involved.

Have seen a few on the bay that you plug into the cigarette lighter, but wondered if anyone can recommend such a device that they've actually used.

I can vouch for the fact that they are all rubbish. Had 4 so far of different makes and none of them last. They are all the basic shoddy far east unit re-packaged.

It is one of those things i would not mind paying extra for one that works, but sadly not found one yet.

Based on the above, wouldn't it be better for you to get one of those earpiece ones Dan?

I had one of those Dan was asking about several years ago.

It was utter rubbish and was binned within the day.

I fitted a bluetooth compatable radio in the coupe after being overtaken by a Belgian cop in a grey van whilst talking to Porkypaul up the road in his car going to Spa a couple of years ago.

It works fine and didn't cost much either.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

I find these really uncomfortable T, not too mention having to plug it on every time I get in/out of a car (lots of times a day!).

Pete - a radio is the best solution, but I need something portable that I can swap from car to car.

Looking barren this search thus far frown

That's what I'm hearing from others so far. I don't mind paying a good price - just need one that works! Surely such a thing exists??!

I have a belkin aircast auto. Not the best, but if you have an AUX port on your car stereo it works fine.
