A recent ding to the front of my coupe allowed me the opportunity to respray the entire car and iron out all the Tesco dents she had amassed in 14 years. 6 weeks later I drove her back home in the slow lane and she's back with me. Attached are some after, during and before resoration shots. A few alterations this time round included a honeycombe grill and the bonnet was a donor bonnet off a burgundy 20vt. All badges have been replaced and the sills have been colour coded - I had to think really hard on that one. Thanks to all for the spares - really appreciated. Vive la coupe!!

Looks stunning Desmond....definitely the right choice to colour code the sills, and the wheels complement the steel grey perfectly! Enjoy thumb

Has the car been lowered or is that just the painted sill effect? I actually quite like the wheels, good match with the steel grey, gives a distinctly different look. thumb

Your coupe is looking fantastic Emon. Can I ask where you had the respray done? Your leather interior is looking good as well wink

Good spot, the car was lowered some time last year using Eibach's proline sports kit. That, in concert with the 225/35/18s makes for an interesting, not wholly comfortable journey in town.

That is icy cold! Agree ^ the shiny rims really set it off. Did you get a new screen put in?

Looks great. I'm constantly surprised by the amoutn of metallic fleck in Steel Grey visible when ghe sun shines on it. Really deep with a rainbow of colours within it.

If I keep my job and moeny os available I might treat mine to a full respray sometime.

Car looks superb mate!!! Sills now look a finished job and suit the lines so much better!
Wheels are spot on for that car. Little m3 spoiler from Autods would look the dogs and would almost perfectly compliment the coded sills?
Great job mate thumb

As everyone has said, looks really good and painting the sills has made a huge difference.

I could not agree more with you tim42, I was just thinking exactly the same thing, changes the appearance of the whole car.
That is a truly lovely looking coop - love the wheels.

Colour coded sills and bumpers look great but particularly with the 18" wheels...

Standard 16" wheels with colour coded sills makes the car look a bit flabby from the side, in my opinion.

Looks amazing. I didn't like the look of the wheels with the blacks sills, but now they are colour coded the wheels look much better IMO.

cheers - we all know how difficult aftermarket wheels are on these coupes - a journey into the unknown.4studs, offsets, wobbly bits and hubcentrics blah blah blah.

Thats the original windscreen which was carefully taken out and put back in for the front and back. I think they were worried about smashing it, but both came out in one piece luckily.
