Merry Christmas everyone.
I've woken up with a horrible temperature, headache and swollen tonsils. On the bright side, I have a roof over my head, a lovely family and some great food to plough through (if I can get it down my neck).
Perspective is a wonderful thing. Get well soon, perspective is a good tool to have in the box, this always cheers me up.
Horsing around's a serious business.

Tomorrow I have fourteen German in-laws to manage, as well as a two-year-old... Good luck with the 2 year old  Partying with Germans is always a good thing  As a young Tom in Germany I always knew if there was a fight in a German bar, there must be at least one other squaddie in there PS Where in Berlin are you Neil? Kreuzberg - corner Obentrautstrasse and Obenbeerenstrasses. The two year old is the easy one - just perch her on my shoulders and go for a walk...
