I managed to get the Coupe out for a decent spirited drive down the Great Ocean Road, in southern Victoria. This is really the first drive other that returning home after my gearbox rebuild. It's a pretty decent road, with a lot of winding sections. It's really the first time I've been able to stretch her legs out a little. What a great day. Statred in South Melbourne at 5AM, got to Lorne by about 8AM after picking up some more stragglers. On to Apollo Bay we got a great run with no traffic. After Breakfast we then proceeded over the hill and back to Melbourne by the inland highway. There were mostly Alfas on the drive, I had the only Fiat and it was well received being such a rare car. These are not the greatest photos but at least we got some.

Now that I am retired, maybe I will do the 2000km drive (one way) to experience this great Australian drive. A number of my mates have done it and speak highly of it.
