hi all, looking to get a boot spoiler any one point me in the right direction ie whats about/where from. any pics would be good. having sold my evo i keep lookin in the rear view and theres nothing there lol

Please, I beg, say no to boot spoilers. I second that. All they do is spoil the coupe styling. What possible use are they on a front wheel drive car anyway? Of course a big one is useful for doing your ironing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Deffo third that, spoilers do not look good on the coupe IMO. All the ones I have seen look pretty naff.

Well fair play to you painterman - styling always divides opinion on here, but I'm also looking for a spoiler that doesnt 'spoil' the looks of the car. Theres a few options; Cadmuro Postert Mariusz from Poland (well respected on here!) Online Autosport There are other options, particularly a lip style spoiler and a kind of wrap around one, which seems to be quite popular over in Europe (i did have a link for it but it eludes me at the moment - price was around £239 i think). Hope that helps!

But why. Any correctly designed car does not require a spoiler. The audi TT is a classic example of getting it wrong. Why add weight, decrease performance, increase fuel consumption and devalue the car in the process <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> But I may be wrong as the millions of Corsa and Saxo drivers would testify <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Its all down to personal taste, I went for the Zender spoiler, which I think suits the coop <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Photo by Colin <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Another vote for the no spoiler option. Mr Bangle must cringe in his BMW executive leather chair at the mere thought of all these folk attaching random bits of plastic to his former creation. Spoilers dont look good on the Coop, honestly they really don't. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I suppose we are all different. Some folk think gold sovereign rings or curb neck chains look cool. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> 'Beauty doesnt need adornment.'

It really is one of `those` issues,I hate things stuck on all over a car,but I <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/love.gif" alt="" /> my cars Horman rear spoiler (but don`t like any other rear spoiler on a coupe.....it is soooooo personal this rear spoiler issue),on this one I gotta totally diaagree with cosmo <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and btw i don`t think gold sovereign rings or curb neck chains look cool <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Don't really like spoilers on coupes but yours is pretty nice If you insist on a spoiler I agree that that is the best one. Not too keen on the rest of the bits of Lego stuck to the car <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Ahhh, so we could all now say that non factory fitted skirts are also a big no no because Bangle didn't design them! That's definitely the spoiler to get if you do go for a spoiler

I think those sketches of the coupe in development stage look pretty grim, almost as bad as his BMW efforts at present. Its a good job the other people at centro style re-did most of the design and we got the coupe we love IMO.

I've got the zender spoiler as in Bananamans photos which is attached to the bootlid only. I've also got another standard bootlid so I can change it on and off the car as I please! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'm not really a bodykit person but my last car had a full Zender kit including boot spoiler and looked fine. It's all horses for courses I suppose. My car now is standard and will probably stay that way.
Just say no to bonnet vents and big rectangular metal spoilers IMHO but then they are people about who actually like these and think they look good.
Just a question of personal taste (or lack of).

If you're going to do it, just keep it subtle. Why would you want to obscure your rear vision?
The coupe is a classy bit of curvaceous Italian crumpet. Don't treat her like a girl on the make-up counter. You don't need to pile on the slap when you look this good to start with.

Ive got the two Cadamuro spoilers itted ffrom Mariusz. Not too OTT but enough to add my own touch to the rear of my Coupe <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Must agree with Circolo in that can be very purist on here <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.

Purist, maybe, but it's such a distinctive shape that spoilers just simply don't suit it. If it were a Corsaxva that you were trying to make stand out from the others of a Thursday night down the B&Q car park, well fair enough. Sorry, no offence meant to anyone personally (you didn't design it!) but that yellow one which hangs over the back looks like one of those radiator shelves. The £1.99 ones. In pine.
And as for the big black aluminium TOCA-style effort - I'd rather watch Henman play tennis.
I'm firmly in the camp which believes that if Bangle had wanted it that way, he'd have stuck one on in the first place.
I'm also firmly in the camp which says look at the word - SPOIL er. (Yes, I do know what it really means).
I've not seen one that adds anything at all visually, and there's little doubt that they add nothing dynamically.
