My coupe needed a new clutch and a mate recommended that A&R Motors on Canvey were excellent. I got a quote for a Valeo and price was £385 fitted all in.
I decided to chance it and am pleased I did, not only did I get my clutch done, but new track rod arms, new droplinks, new wishbones, a new turbo oil feed hose, new front brake pipe (old one was corroded, 4 wheel tracking, brake fluid flushed and oil change at a price that was ridiculously cheap.

They work on lots of cars and are restoring a vintage Porsche, a Model A ford and this is the Mechanics own car

The handling is totally transformed and I have lots of extra cash in my pocket.

If you live in the South East Essex area, they are worth a try.

Cheers, I can't believe how planted the car is now, its revelation to me, I was going to do the Top Mounts too, and he quoted £45 +labour (£38 an hour inc VAT so with the other work, not much at all) But said they didn't really need doing.

The mechanic is the one restoring the Model A and he is a perfectionist, he tracked the car for an hour, getting "the Centre line" right and wants me to bring it back on Tuesday to check it again, as "it may settle on the bushes a bit".

Good recommendation ,by the looks of the mechanics car he's a perfectionist .

Always judge a mechanic by there own car like you would a chef by his signature dish.

I think I may have just fallen in love with his car hope the coop doesn't find out, we all know how touchy they can be
