Haven't seen the original post, but I think it's quite an achievement. Would have preferred to see it with a Fiat group engine. Maybe a V6 Alfa, or why not a 20VT, if you could get around turning it 90 degrees.
Still, impressive.

20VT - Alfa 156 2.0 - Alfa 156 Mid-Engined RWD - Locost 20VT

Looking at the handbrake lever its going to be a drift car. Although they're going to need much more practice lol. Not that I'm a drift King or anything.

Exactly, why not just buy and drive a BMW if that's what you want.

Hello,
As long time BMW fan and now a proud owner of a Fiat Coupe 16vt I really don't what to think...
My heart is splitted...
Great job... but I have to admit that for RWD a BMW would be better...

Why drift a fiat coupe, because its fapping gorgeous and kicks the crap out Japanese cars that have no soul.
And why not just drift a bmw, because it's, just another bmw drifter yawn.
A fiat coupe could make a striking drift machine, A fiat (fwd) coupe with massive huge big ponies is always going to struggle getting the power down without wanting to drive straight on.
A rwd coupe can be so much better balanced, A rwd coupe can go round corners sideways in spectacular splendour A rwd coupe with something like a supra 2jz engine can put out 700-1600bhp the former very cheaply compared to the fiat lump. And a rwd coupe with aforementioned lower power would be quicker round a track. In my view.

So many haters on here? I think this is a fantastic achievement in engineering alone, and the car looks like it will be incredible fun to drive. Well done

If I had the money I'd like to build a rwd coupe using some iconic machinery, perhaps Ferrari V8 in there. Alas I don't have that kind of cash.

Steve, for a while I have been thinking that you should build a Coupe Bimotore! A 40VT. I am amazed at the launch achieved by this car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G2ARLPM5Nc Back to the thread...The owner of this RWD LE seems to love the car. The choice of engine isn`t wholly to my taste but it is good to see some real conversions being achieved.

I think it's an incredible conversion. I love conversions, of every type.
In this case I think it is something incredible because, if you look at the exterior, it is a real Coupe'! No modification on the bonnet, on doors, etc. Only in the interior, but i think that with some hours of job our hero can re-create the pininfarina-design interior.
Great job!

Although not fiat powered it is very well engineered and with 4x4 and 940bhp it should be brisk. http://youtu.be/XSDOAd89XnU
