Thats a quality effort Jame5 looks class. There was a batch made years ago that hardly ever crop up now these days. But that is the best effort I've seen since, ahh you've got me at it now I've always been put off boost gauges for this very reason OCD but now I may be tempted

You need one of these and a plus clock for the needle. Getting the stack gauge apart is the tricky bit (i can do a how to if anyone is interested) and getting the plus needle on is not easy. Painted the rear of the dial face red but a piece of red filter film would be better. I'll get some pics up when it's in and illuminated.

That's when you need a Quality Street wrapper handy! Or perhaps the red lense of a set of 3D glasses. Could you not paint the needle that's already in place to save butchering a set of plus dials? I don't think painting the needle would work, it's made from red plastic and the whole thing lights up. I've got a sheet of red filter paper that i used to match my widget to the dials somewhere in my garage but it has been peeing it down all day and i'm sure it's buried under all sorts of crap, a quality street wrapper might actually work!

I've used these before for converting import dials. http://www.clusterrepairsuk.co.uk/Now I wonder if they stock a plus style needle in a size that fits as they have allsorts of weird and wonderful parts for clusters ? As said be nice to find a good source because plus dials are scarce these days might be worth an enquiry? Look forward to seeing the lil beast lit up lol

I have one in my Coupe and they're not as great as they seem. Not bad, but not great either. Yours looks good James Just need a group buy on them now and a silver surround for those of us that have dial rings

JG Yes it is, i painted it myself, they normally come in primer or black. The gauge is a little bit of a tight fit, the pod could do with being a few millimeters deeper.
