apologies for not using search function.
opened the car ealier, noticed that the red light inside flashed a few more times after unlocking, though "thats not right?"
went for a drive and came home.
On locking the car the all locked and then the hazards kept flashing.
so..disconnected the battery, left for a while, reconnected...now same trouble but car wont start.
Has anyone had success with the scorpion reset procedure on here (disconnect bat..turn ign..reconnect etc)
Any ideas gent??

Yes indeed. If the siren is located in the same place as mine, just behind the nearside fog/side/indicator light and in front of the n/s/f wheel, it only takes a tiny drop of water to get inside the siren and muck up the electrics. The cure used to be to undo the 10mm nuts holding it in place, slide the siren up and give it a real good shake to disperse any water inside. You can try to open the siren up, there are a couple of long screws that screw directly into the plastic casing (a bit cheap, really )
