Puntos have had this for years... it gives slightly more power to the engine and slightly better fuel economy, over a standard pump arrangement.

Not worth the hassle to retro fit though I'd think.

A far more simple design and a less cluttered engine bay.

That´s on my "next" list...just some re-arrengement have to be done to save the A/C. Have the pump burried somewhere in the house, from citroen saxo iirc...

try a eletric oil servo pump from an mr2 maybe??a mr2 pump controller already exists

The MR2 pump suppose can be find easier in UK, here they are almost non-existent, also the controller is good option, although the pump can just be turned off above certain speed.
The cuestion I have is how to preserve the AC compressor working, if remove the original steering pump? Some custom intermediate shaft or... any other solution?
