Plenty of so-called helmet cams out there, from boxy/bulky to sleek/discreet, but not many with GPS as well. How much do you want to spend? How about the RoadHawk HD for £270? For less you can have simpler stuff, but they're more for outdoor sports desgined to be fixed on your helmet, bike or chest. I've got the Drift 720 which is less than £100 mostly for recording my commute to/from work on the bike, I wasn't fussed about 1080 but I did rather fancy the new Drift Ghost which does this looping thing (saves the last 5 minutes in memory until you press a button then it will save it and continue recording). The Hawk does that and is designed more for what you want in the car. Edit: just type "gps video car camera" into ebay/google and see what you get...

I use my Iphone for my 15-20 minute commute. It obviously depends on how memory you have to the amount of minutes as it does not re record when full. Thought about getting some camera but then I was holding one in my hand and carry with me. Cam

I may have bags of money but I wouldn't spend £270 if I can spend £50 for the same features, I just tried to help stinky with a range of options (who I bet sometimes still wishes he were in the Azores eh?)

Hi Dave, I used to live on Ascension Island and I do wish I was still there: Tropical climate, peace and quiet, white sandy beaches, cheap beer, cheap petrol, free lobster, I could go on....
Now I live near Wakefield and work in Bradford, both are fine but it's not the same.

That's the one, I knew it began with A and was in the middle of the Atlantic, as you say, not quite the same...

Search iSymdvr in apps. Just used this and works well. Lots of features too.
