Quick question.

Do I get points for any team using the engine I've selected?

EG. If I chose the Renault engine and a race finished...

...would I get 88 points (25+18+15+12+10+8)?

I've read through the rules but it doesn't seem that clear.

I've never analysed my points, but I'd assumed that my choice of a Mercedes engine would count in any team. Having said that I'm sure there is some control to ensure fairness across the league.

Imagine how happy I was the year McLaren were docked all their points, I had a McLaren/Mercedes platform and ff1 took their points away in the league..
