Can anyone recommend some good places for a weeks carp fishing in France? Ideally somewhere you have been or know someone who has been?

I'll ask my brother. He's a keen carp fisherman and used to live in France

A mate is a very keen angler and goes away with others, I asked him and his reply was:
"When, How many in group and what's your budget"

My area is about 7/8 hours from Calais Mario. So i think its further than you want to drive.
There are plenty of Brit owned carp lakes around here though and for all sorts of budget's.

Is there a ferry that gets us closer to you joe?

Yes Mario. Caan or Dieppe but still a 5 hour jaunt down to me and the crossing is a couple of hours longer than Dover and i imagine more expensive.
