I had a major accident in the snow over Christmas, I turned the wheel at about 5 mph, but the car went straight on and a major collision occured at about 4 mph, the near side alloy struck the curb at speed and force and scratched the edge

Having a white car with black wheels, this actually shows up quite bad, so after a few months of trying to ignore it, its now getting to me, so am looking for a refurb.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Surrey (close to Epsom preferably)

It may be worth asking one of the local independant tyre dealer who they use or recommend.

Wheelworks in Crawley were very good last year for me. They matched the anthracite wheels on my Alfa 159 and can do many other standard colours as well as bespoke colours. Prices were better than Spit N Polish which I have also used in the past on the Coupe.

Someone near Heathrow makes them look like they just come out the factory and does all sorts of finishes, his name is Dips, if you want more info let me know as I cant remember the name of his company.

Thanks guys, Renault are giving me a price at the moment for a factory refurb, I was trying to get it done under warranty and using the excuse of shoddy brakes, but apparantly driving on ice is excluded - who'd've thunk that!
