I Purchased a Prosport AFR analogue gauge from KJ16v from this forum, from his web shop www.VOODOO-TUNING.CO.UK. I have had the thing installed now for about two weeks and finally I have made a small video of it on my dash, showing the opening ceremony and the two colour backlight. for those interested the video is < Here > MODS I'm unsure wether this would belong here or in tuning section. feel free to move it if Required Thanks.

They're 52mm premium series. The premium range have a peak warning alarm which you can preset. This is very handy for the boost gauge but pretty much useless for the AFR as it full ranges momentarilly if I lift off the throttle after a bit of heavy foot work. It would be better suited having a low alarm but then again I didnt buy the premium version for the alarm more to keep in style with my boost gauge.

The gauges are pretty simple to install. You just need a switched Live from your lights, and ignition. I used the window switch for both of these. A ground which I used a bolt from behind the drivers side dash end panel and the sensor plugs into either the gauge or a controller. The most awkward part of the installation was getting the cable from the engine bay to behind the dash and that was not particularly difficult.

I didn't ask you correctly, as I meant the other end How/where and what wire do you connect to for an AFR gauge reading. (I have installed a Prosport boost gauge)

You connect to the lambda sensor. Which wires/wire? I remember asking this before and getting a vague answer.

Depends what type of AFR gauge. The narrowband gauge connects to the white wire from he stock O2 sensor (green on 16VT's), and it shows indication of rich or lean, above or below 14.7:1 AFR.
The wideband AFR gauge that Johnny has in the video, shows the exact AFR, from 7:1 to 20:1. It comes with everything you need; a Bosch wideband O2 sensor, weld-in lambda boss, control box, etc. All you do is mount the O2 sensor, wire up power and plug it all in to the gauge, simple!

I thought I found the answer HERE now I'm confused which colour is the signal wire? For the narrow band. Wide band, the sensor would fit in the downpipe spare boss? Sorry don't want to take it off topic, just wondered how they hook up for reference.

And in a quirk of fate a Nomad two pod pillar came up for sale in the parts for sale section. I was straight on it, and have ordered two Evo type gauges
The Narrow band AFR and the Boost gauge
