Hello Folks
I don't know if anyone remembers the thread 'Sprinty on PH - WTF Seats!' posted bu Chrissy on 03/09/2012? I'm pretty sure that the thread referred to the car that I bought and frankly I agree with the posted comments :-). The rest of the car was too good to pass by though.
Well anyway I've now got a pair of very nice full leather front seats courtesy of Rudidudi that look the part. The other seats are now surplus to requirement and are in fact in very good solid condition and in full working order with adjusters, seat belt buckles etc and are up for grabs gratis if anyone can make use of them. It would be a shame to tip them. The leather is in very good condition and the fabric inserts (love them or hate them) are in similar condition.
I'm going to keep them for a week and then tip them unless somebody wants them. You'll have to pick them up from my home and they will literally come on a first come first serve basis.
Feel free to PM me and make any arrangements. The other option is that we can meet somewhere and make a bring your own bottle bonfire party with them :-)
Moderators - I'm new to the site and not too sure if this needs to be under the selling section since I'm not actually selling them. Apologies if that's the case.
Regards to all
Tony

I'll get some sorted Rudi. The difference is unbelievable. Just one question. Under the driver seat there is an electrical connection (two wires). Have you any ideas what it's for? I've connected it back up. Perhaps it's something that's there as standard in case there's a heated seat option?

I'll get some pics sorted Rich, but they're not for sale, they're for free if anyone can make use before I tip them :-)

This connection is to the drivers seatbelt holder. Illuminates warning light on dash when unconnected then switched off when seatbelt inserted.

Hi Robfow Weren't they hideous? Spent a good while trying to source a pair for replacement. Now that I have, the difference is phenomenal!

I also saw your car at Leightons and was a bit shocked by the interior. Not seen one like that before...!

Hi DC20VT I have to say that when I saw the seats I did think twice about the car, but it was such a nice, low mileage vehicle in the colour I specifically wanted, that I just thought 'change them later' Took a while longer to find some though! All's well now.

Sounds good, get some photos up sometime. Hope you are enjoying the work you had done in Bristol. It's always a fun trip home afterwards.

The trip back was phenomenal DC20!! The engine is just so effortless and smooth. She has an aftermarket stainless exhaust(with cat) and sounds amazing when she's charging ahead !

Well All
It seems that to get a picture on the forum I'll have to set up on the internet so that I can download. I don't really want to bother with that just for these seats, so if anybody wants to see pictures of them if you're interested in having them, just PM me and I'll send them to you via e mail. Remember, they're not for sale, they're free and I'm keeping them for a week before I tip them, which would be a shame.
Regards
Tony
