Has anyone tried this before? I know from reading here on the forum that the most popular/best combo is the Eibach/Bilstein but I got a set of H&R sptings that i couldn't resist - £147 delivered! ( To Southern Ireland) I did a bit of a research here and the closest I got to was this by Jimbo : H&R Springs They were £224 at the time.. And where would be the best place to buy a set of Bilstein B6 dampers these days? The cheapest i got so far is 2 x Front and 2 x Rear dampers for £ 579.41 delivered. ( To Southern Ireland) Cheers Ivan.

Okay people... Little problematic update : After having bought the H&R lowering springs few months ago today I have decided that I`ll put them on the B6 dampers just to see how they`ll look and guess what... Ta-daaaa! They don`t FIT... So obviously they are not for the 20VT model? What are they for though? According to the box they are for the 20VT... Yes I know... Absolutely noob like move on my behalf not checking this straight away but I`ve never seen the standard springs so I didn`t know how they look like at all.. I just trusted the company that they know and by the description on the box I was happy enough... So... Anyone? Any ideas?..

It even says on the box black metalic powdercoated.... Sad to say but you will struggle to return them now... ECP got stupid rules re returns Really sorry for you mate. EDIT - similar thing happened to me when I was doing cambel on my 16VT. They sent me wrong belts for AC/PAS. You can imagine how pissed off I was having all belts and water pump off the car...

Damn... I can imagine alright.. Well.. I Still "chanced my arm" and sent an email to Karishma (the woman that was dealing with me). We`ll see what they`ll say tomorrow... Fingers crossed! P.S. Here is another fella with similar problem : Urgent H&R spring problem! Could this be an H&R themselves issue I wonder? Because Eurocarparts don`t stock these springs they are "Available to order" items so they will order them for you if you put an order...?

You can return them as "Not of Merchantable Quality", eg you purchased them for Fiat Coupe 20VT and they patently aren't as described.
Though they may not give you a refund they should supply the correct goods

That was my first thought but I think in the 2nd pic you can see two different springs... HR are black not blue.

Wait, they look like the rear springs for a Coupe. You are however trying to install them on the front struts. Where are the other 2 springs?

There's not much in really, if you snort a teaspoon of Tabasco sauce whilst rubbing pepper in your eyes and then instantly look at a selection of Coupe and Chevrolet pictures, I bet you couldn't even notice the difference!
Easy mistake to make. Hahaha This will definitely be my next email to them...

Little update on this little issue... After a total of 40 emails with about 15 different EUROCARPARTS.CO.UK staff members and many months passed (4 months ) This morning I have finally received my replacement H&R Lowering Springs ( THE CORRECT ONES)................. It was such a painful and exhausting experience with a happy end though... The lesson of all this? - God help you if you get something wrong with this company!

Looking at getting the bilsteins when I get my coupe at the end of the month, let us know how the ride is as mine has standard shocks and eibachs with 18s and the ride is too firm.
