I am selling my RS6 after a shaky relationship.

I have advertised it twice on eBay and I'm sick to death of dealing with morons.

Despite various pictures and an accurate description I've still had emails asking what colour and mileage it is.WTF?????
And not to mention folk offering me half the value if I drop it off in bham and put a full tank of fuel in it.
The final nail in the eBay coffin was having fallen out with two retards who threatened to come hunt me down and give me a slap.
So I'm guessing that prison inmates primarily spend there time stalking eBay with no intention of buying.
Or more worryingly that this is the current intellect of modern Britain .

So my next question is,I'm not great with the latest Internet selling tools so where is the best place to advertise a car outside of eBay and autotrader.
Anyone had success elsewhere?

Here tongue

Is there an RS6 owners club?Try reaching out to the fans of the marque.... wink

Trade it?
Other than everything else that's been mentioned I can't think of any others right now.

As for ebay....everyone's a chancer trying to pay as little as possible for everything they like...

I've always had success on piston heads and always sold them first time, this was before you had to pay for the ads though.....

I put my coupe on gumtree a few christmas's ago and was inundated with offers before I decided I didn't want to sell, eBay is full of wasters......

With that in mind ill give you 2k :-)

It's the intallect of the Audi RS buyer sadly John (or at least it is up here, innit!)...

I've always had a good hit rate on E-bay, did you sort the issues you had with it?

Can't suggest anything, I gave up selling cars a while back. I give them away or sell to friends to avoid the predicament you have.

I got sick of the "what's your best price" calls. One lad had the cheek to offer me less than half the asking and then tell me I should take it or it might get nicked. To which I laughed and told him he was welcome to try

Another vote for pistonheads. It's the sort of place you would look if you were buying an RS6.

I wouldn't ever sell a car on eBay.

Dare I say it, but I've always used Autotrader for my car and bike sales. It is probably the second most viewed site after ebay.

Yes, you might get a call or two from companies offering to "sell it guaranteed," but so far it has worked fine for me. You can also hide your phone number via the site to avoid idiots calling you.

Good luck mate. Sure you want to sell it???
