Hi
Is there a way to take the front side lights with indicator etc. apart for cleaning? The inside of mine are pretty awful and could do with a clean.

Henk

You can't open them, they are in one piece (maybe in high temp, similar to main lamp, but really i never tried )

Take them off the car and remove the bulbs. You can just about reach into the entire unit to clean it up. Use something like a bottle brush.

The fog light reflector comes out quite easily giving good access for cleaning. The side light and indicator are fixed though, so through the bulb hole is the only option. I would have thought that it is possible to take the glass lense off but I don't know if anyone has ever tried.

Isn't it possible to do the same as with the rear light, using a screwdriver to get the glass from the housing?

I was also thinking of giving the plastic inside of the fog lights a respray (metallic silver) to make them stand out a bit more.

I got the impression the lenses were sealed in like the headlights. I'm sure you could achieve a satisfactory improvement doing as variously suggested above. The main problem is that of the outside of the lens which gets so pitted.
