Decided to give the coupe a bit of a revival this Bank holiday Monday and decided to buy a bunch of Autoglym stuff (Halfords had a 3 for 2 offer!!!).
I must say the clay bar paired with the polish form Autoglym brings a new lease of life to the paintwork!
I highly recommend it.

Claying and polishing does wonders for old paintwork, i remember the first time i did mine, it gave a much deeper shine. Don't forget to wax! Polishing is mildly abrasive so a coat of wax will seal and protect the paint

I did the old three for two deal today as well, I got some Autoglym trim gel and did the grill, b pillars, wipers, scuttle panel and window surrounds, went a bit OCD with it but it really lifts the whole look.
I really rate Autoglym products, (I use super resin polish and extra gloss protection) they always work well and do what they say.(I don't work for Autoglym)

Horsing around's a serious business.

I need to get some extra gloss protection then. The Autoglym HD wax is expensive. Puts me off tongue

HD Wax is superb and is easily comparable to £100 waxes. It'll also last you a long, long time. Apply two thin coats and I've seen 6 months protection covering 7,500 miles in that time. IMO it's worth every penny.
