Hey guys,

Well, it's been over a year since my last coupe decided it didn't want to run anymore and had to be scrapped. Now I'm back!

In the past 12 months, I've tried a manual FTO GPX and when that didn't do it I decided to get a sensible Saab 9-3 1.9 diesel... that didn't last long either!

So, last weekend I picked up my 2nd Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo. This one's been very well cared for. The previous owner builds engines for McLaren and had a fantastic collection of cars in his huge garage! 3 Fiat Coupe's (okay, 2 now!), a classic TVR, MG, and Jeep plus more round the back!

This car has had all the belts replaced, new clutch, Garrett GT28RS Turbo, Stainless Steel Exhaust, and GTEC chip all within the last 3000 miles. It's also had a full respray.

Here are the all important photos (although they dont do it justice, it's gleaming!)

Not bad for only £2000, eh?!

Looks very nice!
What size wheels are they and are you going to keep them on?
Wish my bodywork looked that good.
Are there any mods?
What was the TVR?
Why the FTO was a let down ?
That's all for now.
Happy driving driving

Cheers guys,

Yeah Simon, deffo try and make it on Sunday! Got friends coming down from Inverness but i'll try and get rid of em nice and early!

Wheels are 17", i'll keep them for the time being but may go back to standard in the future, quite like the look of the standard wheels. No other mod's that i'm aware of other than what's mentioned. Might need some kind of boost controller (last time I had an armval PRV) because I can feel the boost bouncing slightly. I'll also be fitting my old boost gauge soon, glad I kept a hold of it!
No idea what the TVR was, all I know is that it looked like it was from the 70's and had a TVR bagde. The guy stripped it back to the shell and rebuilt it over many years! The garage was impressive. My FTO was actually really nice, one of the best examples around I reckon. Black facelift model with the manual box and Mivec engine with only 54K miles from new! Just didn't put a smile on my face and thats kinda the point.

Glad to be back in a coupe now!

Me too.... I've now spent far more than the purchase price on mine..... and I've only had it a couple of months. It's an obsession.

Touch wood. EVERYTHING [jinxes himself immediately] works on mine now !! Whoooop.

PS, lovely car mate. £2000 is just silly low for a car like that.
