**Not to be confused with FCSS** service from these guys has always been exemplary.

Had a track day booked for Sunday. One of my injectors went on Thursday. Bought two injectors from FCS (http://www.fiat-coupe.co.uk/)to be sent special delivery Friday - guaranteed delivery Saturday morning. They didn't arrive. All my text messages and phone calls have been ignored since then.

Needless to say I was unable to source an injector on Saturday in Norwich and I was unable to attend the track day.

It's very poor service, cost me quite a bit of money and put a big downer on the weekend as it was meant to be a present for my mate who's moving to Canada.

Unfortunate as I think an apology on Saturday, Sunday, even this morning might have stopped me posting this.

AGAIN **Not to be confused with FCSS**

Obvious question, but how do you know the delivery failure wasn't down to royal mail?

I've sent stuff on a Friday by special delivery (Saturday) before and it's arrived on Monday.

Haha probably true. It's not arrived today unfortunately. I'll get in contact with them and see what happens.

I've sent stuff on a Friday by special delivery (Saturday) before and it's arrived on Monday.

That generally comes down to the time at which the item was sent. Royal Mail quite regularly forget to inform customers that items sent after 12:00 aren't guaranteed for next day delivery. They also never made it well known that Saturday deliveries were never guaranteed at all (that changed very recently).

Yeah I was gutted mate frown

I didn't know that about special delivery. The idea was that it was going to be sent Friday morning. Would have thought it would have got to me by Monday if it was sent special on Friday though. Also this doesn't explain why I've not received any reply to my texts.

Anyway I think I have a different way to contact them now so will try that.

They have a contact number on their website, any reputable company would respond confused

So after two phone calls to FCS the party line is:

"Yeah mate, I sent them. I've got the special delivery reference number - i'll just go get it and text it to you"

After this response twice and still no text I feel I'm being ripped off. Dear oh dear FCS. Trying to run a coop spare parts business and doing this to a forum member can't be a good plan can it?

A loose associate of the FCS guy I've been speaking to (who sounded like a totally decent guy) said he would try and find a couple of injectors and send them to me when he got back to the garage today - even though he has hardly anything to do with the "fiat stuff".

Just glad I only spent £25. I won't be using them again.

Joe @ FCSS would have had them sent to you next day I'm sure. I know that doesn't help you now but for next time. laugh

Apologies if I have this wrong....

I seem to recall seeing this web link mentioned before by people in less than favourable terms.. Yes / no?

website setup by didcoop. also an amazing guy.

I called this company once, only to be greeted with the most unprofessional phone manner I have ever come across. Guy just couldn't be bothered.

The next phone call Philip gets from me is going to be very uncomfortable for him.

I on the other hand am going to enjoy it.

I agree with Mitch definitely one to avoid as I've had a few bad experiences with them too.

Boonman I totally agree with Dc20vt and Hovedan about Joe at fcss, he is definitely one of the best around for coop spares.

Joe at FCSS is your man, always gets it right, always gets it to you fast.
Always offers great advice.
No need to go elsewhere. smile

You're preaching to the choir here boys. Joe has always sorted me out in the past and delivered excellent service.

The only reason I didn't use fcss is I didn't know I needed the part till 8:30pm Thursday evening. Thought it would be my last chance to get something before Sunday so had to contact someone before Friday. Didn't have a phone number for FCSS, only contacted him via the forum before. Didn't think to check the web for a phone number! Doh.

Hahahaha!

After being told he can't find the tracking number and he'll get his secretary to phone me back with it later!??! haha. Not falling for that one again. I've now been told:

"I've sent them right - so go f**k yourself mate"

Customer service alive and well in the UK.

What a unbelievable cloud9.

How did you pay for the injectors? I assume not Paypal because they would be able to refund the money for you. If you used a Credit Card, the credit card company can chargeback the transaction. All they'll ask you to do is sign a decleration to confirm you did not receive the goods or services.

Haha - yeah I saw that too Charlie.

Jay - I stupidly paid by bank transfer as he said he didn't use paypal (shocking). Wouldn't have done it but was desperate to get the part for the track day.

The little toerag isn't getting away with this. Barclays might be able to do something but it's not the money I'm worried about. He screwed up my trackday and has caused me loads of hassle.
I intend to cause him as much pain as he's caused me smile
Time for another jovial phone call to Philip I think. Redial buttons are a wonderful thing.

On a happier note I contacted FCSS yesterday. Joe was extremely helpful and has put himself out to try and sort something out for me. The difference in service is like two different worlds. One is inhabited by stupid, spikey, puss covered creepy crawly things that bite your ankles and generally ruin your day. The other is populated by friendly people who invite you in for some dinner, give you a big comfy bed to sleep in and cook you a fry up in the morning with extra bacon.

Great analogy laugh

Just make sure he doesn't try and slip into that comfy bed for a cuddle...
