Today I fitted a Firmtec Sequential shift light.
I have to say it really is Plug and Play.
Before I show you the photos or videos, let me explain:

It can either be connected to the Tacho output on the ECU/Loom
Or you can simply connect it to the 12V Cigarette Lighter, (or do what i did for now and connect it to a switched Live and a good earth).
To install it using the cigarette lighter takes.... 5 minutes.

Here's how I routed mine, I have already run a 12V feed to the Right Hand Side of the Dash from the Drivers side electric window, so that is the feed, I took the Dash end caps off and fed wire up side of A pillar, to front of screen then put velcro on dash and Shift light and as it's black it fits right in.

I am waiting for my Apexi AVC-R to arrive and when it does I will connect the Shift light to the Tacho output, but it's surprising accurate on just the 12 v supply.

Calibrating it was a piece of cake, just press the button on the back twice then count the flashes on LEDs, 1=1000, 2=2000 etc, once I got to 5,000 I pressed button again, then did the hundreds, (again just count the flashes), thats it.

Anyway, when it arrived it's well made, came with a proper printed manual and was UK made, delivery took 2 days.

Ebay link price is £33 including delivery. Which is a bargain, check out the ebay link for videos etc.

You can set the interval at which each LED lights

For the technical among you here's the manual in .pdf format

I will fire up the camera and shoot some video of it in action tomorrow.

Oh and thanks to the lad on the Evo Forum for the heads up, I was looking at paying over £130 for a similar device.
