Is lack of paint on roof and boot a good enough reason to scrap a car?

Hmmm VT but push button start - do many people convert?

What a waste - for the sake a few hundred quid! Looks fairly rust free up front which should bode well for the rest of the car.

2 of my 3 had little if any paint on the roof, bonnet and boot when I bought them. A little TLC and a large but diminishing bank balance has made both of them respectable, and they are just great to drive....

No paint on the roof? You can't see the roof when you change down from 4th to 3rd and use the right foot driving .... I'm used to being embarrassed at Coupe meets rolleyes

No excuse for scrapping; just undercoat the whole lot and use as a Q-car, seeing off the shiny-shite GTIs at the lights love

99 pence for a wheel bolt seems a bit steep; I could pay off my mortgage with the number of wheel bolts I have in my garage.... rolleyes

Massive shame on the face of it. I think this is one of my favourite colours and I particularly like the grey leather seats. Has it already been broken up??? confused
