Get some Autoglym trim and bumper gel, works well.
Horsing around's a serious business.

Washing my car last weekend I tried peanut butter oil for a laugh as it has been mentioned on here that it works. It actually worked very well indeed! It lifted the residue on the rear window surround. Just avoid the crunchy variant and apply with something other than bread. But I didn't have to stop for a snack!

Missed this, but why not use raw peanut oil, sesame oil etc. apart from it being more expensive than most. Olive oil? I use black cream shoe polish meself.

Don't know if it is anything unique to the oil of peanut? Yes it would be better to use just oil. What does shoe polish taste like?...... Mmm exactly!
