OK, so i bought this Android tablet and all is going well on it.

We have some useful games for the child to keep her amused, and some more useful pointless games for me.

But I can't figure how to download films or TV episodes, I can stream OK, but when on a plane, streaming won't be available.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks y'all in anticipation bye

Couple of options -- plug tablet into laptop, should show up as a harddrive and just copy content across. Alternatively, get a mini-usb adapter and you can plug that into the bottom of the tablet and stick a memory card into it and play the movies off the card, the benefit of this is it allows you to fill up a few cards with different movies and take a whole bunch with you, instead of filling up the often valuable tablet hard disk. Oh and ES File Manager is a useful free app that allows you to access the file system and see what's available smile.

I followed it as well. It appeared to load 2 unwanted toolbars and caused me running issues with AOL. Apparently it also doesn't download from hamster.com smile

Me neither? I'm going to have another go as I was able to download Patch's detailing of my Plus from You Tube, so I know it works!

Have you run a virus scan lately? You do need to have Java installed, but you won't need anything else smile

Sounds like a typical rookie error there RK tongue

Did you click on the very small link that said "Download", to the right of where the box you copy the address into, or did you click on the whacking great button below that said "Download now", which is actually a link to somewhere else, that will then attempt to download all various toolbars and rubbish?
