Firstly i have to give all credit to my long suffering girlfriend for her photoshop skills. I was interested to see what my coupe would look like with a new front end, something a little more intercooler freindly. What do you think?

New that would stir up a few opinions! I have been thinking about doing something different with the front bumper. I not too keen on the grill but i do like the bumper cut out and lower numberplate. If i was as good as the misses with photoshop i'd spend a bit more time and try and find a slightly less "fugly" solution!

Have you seen Auto DS' Carbonara bumper. Might be along the lines...

I think you need to watch out for the guy in the background wearing the hoodie, think he is eyeing up the car. At least when he sees the revised front he will probably decide not to bother nicking it!

When i first posted that pic i expected mixed opinions, and a bit of friendly ribbing from the purists and a bit of constructive criticism. Not an all out piss take. If it's not to your taste, why not give your views on how it could be improved? It's no wonder the forum is getting quieter.

I've never been totally happy with the front end, i'd like something a little different and none of the bumpers or grills available really float my boat. If, and it's a big if, i do modify my current bumper it's a long way off. I have a list as long as you arm of more important things do do first.

I'd personally go with something similar to the light blue chappie - but to make the front end safe and usable , cover the lower section (wheres there's a big ***k off hole) with Mesh type stuff (but bespoke) and color code it to the grill and bumper areas accordingly. so the mesh carries the cars paint through the center and lower section.

massive increase in Airflow-
Stealthy look of the bumper (in effect similar to an Xray) - It would be one of those second / third looks to see what car and what mods had been done as it goes by

as for the initial Idea - like the concept of the plate at the bottom, I reckon maybe another go at the surround for the air scoop, Few Beers always inspires me when I'm drawing
