I notice you put this in the styling section.

If thats your angle I think you can get pretty good looking air/fuel ratio gauges, don't think they really tell you much though.
Oil temp and exhaust gas temp I understand can be handy though.

For me it would be oil temp, wideband afr, and boost gauge. Water temp and oil pressure are on the dashboard anyway.

If you're going to add some horsepower, you should have :
Boost gauge, Air Fuel Ratio and Exhaust Gas Temperature

if not, then only boost gauge, oil température and Air Fuel Ratio wink

I'd go for Exhaust Gas Temperature. It tells you when things are (starting to go) wrong. All the others for me are just analysis tools, excuses or race car equipment.

Oil temp: if you do a decent warm-up (20km) then you don't need it. Other than warm-up it will just scare you when you see it goes into the red when you floor it or are stuck in traffic after a good blast. Which it does on a 20vt.

AFR: you can't change it on the fly and if you have a good ECU setup it's nothing to worry about... Plus, if it's wrong (due to injectors, air leaks, faulty sensors,...) it'll show on the EGT as well.

Boost: well okay if you want to play with a boost controller, but... ahah... if you have a good boost controller it will also have a boost display.

Kayjay, not every 20VT has got oil tmp gauge, mine doesn't and as I do track days then it's essential to have after market gauge fitted. As far as good boost controller display is concerned apart from Apexi I use analogue boost gauge in the A-pillar as it is fairly difficult to keep looking down towards the ashtray to monitor boost on the Apexi's display wink Agree about the EGT I guess more important than AFR gauge.
