Megane 225
Audi S3
Leon Cupra/R

Megane 225 are great to look at, Unreliable generally electrically, Although they are cheap now... £2500-2700 04-05 plates...

S3 are great, Love them, Ultra reliable and will out live most humans, small inside though....

VRS, Sit in one and drive it, You will be sorry you put it on the list, Utterly slow, Awful handling, Cockpit is Vulgar!

Leon Cupra R, I have owned 2, Im in search of another now... Spacious, Tunable, Ultra reliable on every level, Cool looking and 5 doors! Make sure its a BAM engined one though, (225hp) 53plate upwards..

Yes.... but the Cupra R sounds very nice, and handles nicely, Goes well too, The 180bhp Cupras are as you know, Duuuuulllllllll.....

Most 1.8t VAGS are dull and sedate, The S3 & LCR are lively and a fair exception,

The Octavia is worse than the 180 Cupra!

Well, Im just guessing its a £3000-3500 price range, As I know the current values well, ST is a beauty, cheapest I have seen just sold on Ebay at auction for £3500 - cat D, Mazda3 MPS are over 4k, Volvo... who?? lol

Ah I've passed onto a new level of car... that expalins that one...

Not alot else - unless you want a flat as a fart Golf GTI and then lots of fiddling to bring it to anywhere near a std Cupra R.

Ctrl Alt Delete............. ummmmmmmm

No, still doesn't work.

They may be a pain in the posterior, but a Coupe is unique and there is NO equivalent replacement, just a compromise.

None of the cars listed above would ever put a grin on my face when I walked out the front door...... apart from the Coupe love

i owned a Leon Cupra for a couple years did a few mods (full exhuast, map, coilovers etc) ended up with 212bhp nippy enough to get to work and back and for a blast was very good on fuel when cruising.

then made mistake of borrowing my mates mapped S3 and wanted more power hence now owning a coupe smile

if you need diesel leon cupra tdi/mk4 gt-tdi/skoda vrs are very good, had a mate who had he's leon mapped at awesome gti came out 186bhp and a stupid amount of torque plus 55+mpg

I've recently bought an 04 Cupra R, 225 BAM engine. Love the car, fast, should be reliable, not bad on insurance, looks nice, aggressive front end, apparently easy to tune, practical.
Does lack the character of the Coop though but that may be because I've not had her long. Pretty rare on the road too which is what I like.
