Hi All,

I am sending my Brembos off to these guys www.brake-caliper-painting.com for a full refurbish as one of them seized on Friday allowing me to warp a disc! (Just after i had left Poweritalia having spent over £600 on her...!)

I am tempted to change the colour from the standard silver...does anybody have any pictures of a steel grey coupe with different colour calipers? Particularly blues...but i am open to suggestions!

Thanks in advance,

Dan

What colour wheels do you have Dan, that makes all the difference?

Hi Jimbo!

I have the standard silver wheels...i say silver...14 year old standard silver wheels with lacquer peel, scratches, and not a lot of paint! but that is on my next "to do " list!

Thank you

I think go a bit different from the usual red or yellow, how about some nice gunmetal grey calipers with white brembo decals?

Or go bright with some baby blue

You'd need to paint the rears to match though and maybe pick out something else on the car to go the same colour. I'm thinking the flash under the 20vt badge on the B pillar and or the fiat badge on the bonnet.

Gunmetal grey would look nice with red brembo decals. But that's just me.

Thanks for the ideas folks, and certainly giving me food for thought!

Does anybody have a picture of anodized blue calipers?

Thanks

Depending on your coupe colour, some colours wouldn't work. Yellow looks good on my Sprint

What colours do people think i should stay away from, as i really don't want to mess this up!

I am trying to achieve the "subtle, but classy" image...if that makes any sense?!!

gunmetal or gloss black with a white or silver brembo decal?

classy and subtle! definitely sort your wheels to highlight the calipers too!

Blue would look lovely on a Steel Grey imo, but am unsure if it would be subtle and classy, more bold and brash than anything.

Red would look good too, but again, stands out too much to be subtle.

Maybe gun metal grey as suggested above or black maybe?

I do think blue or red would look good though laugh
