Just need to confirm quickly if all team dynamics 1.2 fit straight onto the coupe without spacers?

They are 4x100 so will have to use wobbly bolts.

when i was going to get a set of these made i was told they would make them 4 x 98 with the right offset to clear the brembo's , are you getting them second hand tony ?

Tony - they may fit, or they may not - it depends entirely on how they've been machined

If the wheel has the correct offset, they WILL fit (I have them on my car)

However, if they have a high offset, you may need a spacer

Do you know what offset they are?

oh - and you'll probably need spigot rings as well - you also need to know what the centre-bore of the wheel has been machined to - if its less than 58mm, you're stuffed - if its more, you need the adapter to reduce the size down to the correct Fiat centre bore

DO NOT be tempted to run without these, especially with wobble bolts - your car would be undrivable and very dangerous. Its actually the centre bore that supports the car - the bolts are there purely to hold the wheel against the hub - they should not provide any directional load carrying (although they do provide rotational load resistance, as the wheel tries to stay still when the hub is rotating)

You wouldn't beleive the trouble i've had with getting a set of aftermarket wheels to fit my coupe. I've bought 2 sets now second hand, both not fitted correctly.

These are second hand too, off of a MG ZR which is 4x100. I think 1.2's ET range is 25-37?

I have 15mm spacers and longer wobbly bolts. Spigot rings will not be a problem to get.

Don't want to get a wrong set for the 3rd time.

Nigel, from memory do you know where the ET is marked on the wheel so I can email the guy?

thanks

Tony, there's a pattern forming here, you keep buying second hand wheels and they keep having issues!

For what it would cost to just buy some new alloys and take the tyres off one of your old sets would save you the hastle of yet another set of damaged or ill fitting wheels.

TD will make you a set of direct fitting alloys, the correct offset and bolt spacing.

Jim, couldn't agree more. Was trying to save some money but it backfired! Live and learn.

Always seems to be the case Tony, you try to save a little but end up spending double.

I'm sure there was a GB on the Pro-Race alloys not so long ago ?

Bought mine new - made to order (alhough took 9 weeks) and fitted perfectly. The spigot rings came with the order, and no problems; see my logo!

There is a current group buy on ProRace 1.2 - they are machined specifically for the Coupe, with the offset so accurately set that there's about 2mm clearance between the brembos and the spokes

They also machine the wheel centre bore to fit the hub without spigot rings

I am running a set on mine in 18 " form. I have the fitting kit through halfords which included new bolts, I did not need wobbly bolts however the normal Fiat bolts do not fit the pro race 1.2s correctly so should be changed and the kit came with spigot rings. I have had zero issues with them. Well apart from them catching the rear arches on full bump.

Does anyone know of a company that can send a set to Sweden?
Rimstock won't send any package due to an agreement between Rimstock and the swedish dealer.

Just bought this to replace one I smashed on a pot hole.

Thought they were all a standard size.

Will this fit ?

Cheers guys
