leveling up and some tasks (e.g. adding friends) give you some extra donuts, or you could try the mystery boxes but its no guarantee.

I read if you make Homer play with his 'mypad' and then tap him 10 times you get 10 free donuts (which I've tried and it does work).

There are things which cost 300 donuts though and I can't see how you'll ever accrue that many without paying.

TBH I dont know. I still have stuff to do. Quests etc. i just dont have any use for xp at the moment. Seems like thet increase the level cap with a new update/content.

Why does everyone have big blocks of the same house, is it a task or the best way to make loads of $ ?

Best way to make lots of money. I've got a couple of blue house slums. Loads of cash and XP 3 times a day. Also wait until you have loads of one type of house then when you go for the Christmas update to that type of house it does them all for 50 coins, meaning you can earn more very quickly.

The christmas update doesn't quite work like that. It decorates them all but from what i can see you dont get coins for each house you only get the reward per house type.

Anyone else still playing? Can't decide whether it's a chore or an addiction. I must check my springfield three or four times a day. I'll just start to think about life without it and they release another update!

I jailbroke my iPhone, cheated to get unlimited money, bought all the land, bought everything, then got bored of planning the perfect town and deleted the app.

My towns not maxed at Pinin. I get lots of cash from the houses but I have very few of the special items you have to buy with donuts.

Still playing but probably visit once a day as i have mostly orange houses to get cash from.

Jump on twice a day. Was obsessed with it but now it's just a game to me. Until the limited time challenges come up, that is!

Clash of Clans is pretty good too!
