I`m about to swap engines and was advised that changing the engine mounts is a MUST but I`m struggling a bit with these bloody mounts...

So my lack of knowledge question is:

How many engine mounts is there on the 20VT and witch ones do I need to change?

Is it these ones?



Upper engine mounts, Left engine mount, Right engine mount, Gearbox mount?

And also where would be the best place to buy them from? There is non in eurocarparts.co.uk and carparts4less.co.uk

Yes you have all of the mounts in the picture.

Some quite cheap on ebay now, and the upper engine mounts someone on here (maybe barbz) was doing alloy bushes.

i have vibratec mounts ..... and a paddle clutch so more cabin noise pulling away and in reverse but 90% is the clutch ....i think the upgrade is worth it as they wont perish like the rubber mounts over time ... and if you up the power they will be worth it due to torque loss in the rubber

Yes, buy all the ones pictured because if they're over 10 years old they're due for change.

They are definitely over 10 years old as my Coop is 1999 and 86 000 miles on its original engine..

The only engine mount I found on ebay was the gearbox mount..

Can anyone please give me the Fiat part numbers on all the engine mounts? As I was at the local motorfactors and they need those numbers to check if they can get them.
