My 3 year old loves playing with toy cars and always takes an interest in the coupe. I'd like to get him a toy coupe to play with.

Any idea where I can buy one?

The odd ones crop up on ebay, some look better than others but I keep forgetting to bid on them. I'd rather just buy one from somewhere.

That one looks great,thanks Ollie.

It's not mounted on anything is it? It'll have to be one he can 'brum' around.

It's probably got a mounting screw that holds it to the base, but I doubt its permanent mounted to the base, so brummable I reckon thumb

If the seller combines postage, buy two and ill have one off you.

You might find that it leaves skid marks on the floor- not sure if the wheels rotate? The little 1/87 scale yellow (and occasionally red) models are more like 'hot wheels' cars and more robust in the hands of a 3 year old...

They are not a toy more a display item, they have wipers,door mirrors and an aerial which would last about 30 seconds in the hands of a child, when you get one and see the detail you will definitely not give it to a child to play with

That Agostino one is cheap enough to allow it to be a toy. So get two or three for you as well.

Wheels turn so no issues there. Note it's mounted by TWO screws!!!!!! Build quality there! wink smile

You're bound to indeed snap off the aerial, door mirrors and wipers but other than that it's quite sturdy. If you glue the wipers to the screens then those will last. Mirrors and aerial... nothing you can do. If you're afraid he'll chew them off, snap them off before giving it to him.

It also rides very well!

Thanks Robotrish.

I think I prefer the first one as it has proper coupe wheels.

I've sent him a message asking for a postage discount if I buy more than one.

Kyosho do a lovely 1:64 scale Coupé which is very detailed given its size and has free moving wheels with removeable rubber tyres.

Here's mine ->
