Hi all I am attempting to go all LED on my coupe the rear lights are going to be a careful balance to make them look good, but I am stuck on the third brake light, I have had a look and it says 284 bulbs but I am struggling to find led versions of that bulb. does anyone have any pointers or am I just being daft?
thanks

You can get the led replacements which is what I did, but they were a bit iffy occasionally one failed to illuminate ( a bad push in connection ) so I went the drastic route got dremel out and made a space for led strip same as used for led rear light mod

I tried 3 or 4 different types all of which needed the holes where the bulb fits widening a little. They also stay illuminated slightly most of the time and some bulbs were brighter than others depending on what position they were plugged into. In all a bit of a fiddle, better to do as above and fit a strip into the existing holder.

Rear high level brake push fit It's bulb type 284 in Halfords 12V 2.3W and note that the same size ones with smaller wattages don't work. Super bright T5 286 10k MCD Ultra bright Red dash leds are a good replacement and will last forever. Link here
