Saw this very smart executive jet at Inverness airport. I'd assumed that, with the identifier of M-USIC, it belonged to someone in the industry. My rather amateur search on my phone suggests it's just a charter aircraft.

You might still be right MRS. All uk aircraft can be entered into the CAA website and you get the owners details etc.

The danger with this is that famous/wealthy people can get spotted etc. To get round this thet register the aircraft under a company name that way when anyone checks it just looks like a charter aircraft.

This is more common on Heli's as quite often the owners use them on a regular basis.

I suppose. Would just seem odd to have a "personal plate" and then not want to be recognised.

It was, however, the smartest and shiniest aeroplane I've seen for a long time

Didn't someone do a land grab of a huge pile of 'personal' aircraft registrations some years ago, only to discover that they can't be transferred?

It's been a while; I may have forgotten details.

It 'could' be Bob Dylan, he's got a house over that way. But then it could be any number of others!!

Yes - that's what I found when I did a search. It's a beautiful aeroplane and looks very Rock n Roll
