So, my fiat is eating turbo chargers, for whatever reason the oil is not getting to it when it needs it. I have now run out of money, time and patents to fix it and I have run out of FCCUKs to give about it and want it out of my life. if it was just the fiat maybe i could have handled it but i cant, i'm haivng the same level of trouble with my subaru too, every time i go near either of them I make them worse. They have left me driving round in an MG ZR diesel.... My life has reached a new all time low. But i've put too much time, effort and money into both the subaru and the fiat so rather than break them up for parts, I want to put them in storage somewhere. I just want them out of my life, I want them hidden somewhere I dont have to have them taxed, MOTed or insured. so what options are open to me? I dont mind paying for storage or paying for them to be towed there but they may stay there for a couple of years until I get my life back on track. At the moment i'm a prisoner of my cars, I cant clean or tidy anywhere in the house because there are too many car parts littering the place. Do you have any ideas? Please? anyone?

dry storage for cars is cheap enough from anywhere from £7-£30 a week it all depends how much you want them to look over your car some places its just a park up and walk away service where others will keep your battery charged and even run it up (which you wont need of course)

Sorry you're feeling like this. If it helps, I have room on my driveway for one of the cars, if you wanted to park it off road for a while. My area isn't the greatest of places, but should be 'fairly' safe. I wouldn't charge storage either, although if you paid for my pc to be fixed, then you'd have cctv watching the car too Offer is genuine and there for you if you get desperate and Wrexham isn't too far away from you

But both cars are leaking oil and I wouldnt want to ruin your drive way, but PM me with the details of your computer I might be able to suggest a solution and possibly have a spare part lying round as I have as many PC spares as I do car parts

Boy can I relate to your comment At the moment i'm a prisoner of my carsI too have 3 cars on the go. Love my 16vt and had it for 7 years but driven it for about 3 due to problems, time and money. Changing the gearbox on it now to try to get it going again but will probably sell it. I bought a £500 Porsche 924 in April and it's been great but now has fuelling issues that are proving difficult to fix. The problem is that the 924 is now my daily driver as I blew the engine on my BMW 330 on the Nurburgring in September. The car is still in Germany as Green Flag have been useless in sorting and transporting it back under my cover. To top things off, when my engine blew it spewed oil on the track that I had to pay £800 to have cleaned up plus £250 recovery costs and now face a 3rd party claim from a biker who came off and claims it was on my oil. Claim value £11,500 that my insurer says I'll have to pay if its successful as they don't cover the ring.

Never give up boys if it comes to just dry store the coupe (making sure you put them to bed properly first) and when you do get it back out it will most probably be worth a little more than when you put it in

I'm in the same position. I m on my 2nd Coupe 20vt that's my daily and still have my impreza that I just can't seem to let go. I've packed my tedious bar ok paid job in and I'm back at uni now with zero income coming in.
Although it would be easy to sell them and enjoy the money I'm just storing mine at the mo and seeing it as an opportunity to enjoy messing with the cars when I need a break from the stresses that will inevitabley build up.
If they don't owe you anything i reckon it's the way to go.
