With the end of summer approaching, today I got my Plus wheels, shod with T1Rs out of the garage and swapped them with my LE wheels shod with R1Rs and placed them in the garage,.

The T1Rs ride much smoother, I suspect the sidewalls are far less stiffer.
Grip wise you can feel a difference and there appears to be slightly more understeer. Still at least large puddles shouldn't be a problem.

The R1Rs have worn rather quickly at the front, they do reward spirited driving, but even I am surprised how soft they must be.

will be putting mine in the garage for winter soon too. Definitely stiffer sidewalls, the rears are effectively runflats. Grip level is awesome in summer but have noticed the tramlining increasing as they wear.

I must say that having tried almost every tyre the R1Rs have been the most impressive. I will definitely be fitting them again next summer.
