Just beat me to posting this!!
I was just wondering - If you knew nothing about the Coupe and you were in the market for something slightly exotic looking and different to most other cars on the road (lets say it had a private plate to hide its age) would you pay 9k for it?
Just put a non-Coupe head on here for a moment...
In this scenario, the fact you know nothing about the car or the cars age - it's low mileage and looks like it's just come out of the factory and looks so damn good...I know I'd be tempted...

I totally get your point however people pay £10k for a so-so quality Escort Cosworth... Because it's an escort Cosworth. Sat in one it's still an early 90's Ford Escort. Which is the best value? I'd say the coupe.
 Coopless!

I'd say the coupe. But the coupe hasnt got the heritage which the escort commands which is why all the cosworth prices have raised about £5k in the last 3 years. I love coupes but I also love all things with the cosworth engine in aswell just because there still going so strong .

Lovely great buy that even if it is overpriced but coupes should be commanding more money. Really for the money the coupe cant be beat, I had a focus rs last year sold it after a month and am now back in a coupe says it all really and saved myself 17k.
